Ash Glaze Ceramics

Conscious Clay hand thrown ceramic vessels become deeply personal

memorials when a portion of ashes is blended into one of five elemental

ashes are received via a supplied collection kit, the vessel is crafted and

glazed within approximately eight weeks.

Available forms include functional pieces—planter pots, candle holders,

vases, display bowls, trinket plates—and the sculptural Neriage Teardrop

vases, which uniquely embed ashes in glaze or clay. (Full product range

and details are available on our website.)

Each vessel undergoes a natural and unpredictable transformation

during firing. Ashes react to the glaze to yield nuanced flashes, flecks,

and depth of tone that vary in every piece, making each urn truly

one‐of‐a‐kind.
